Mission: Our Objective is to Provide Education and Insight on the Aramaic Christian Identity, Language, and Community Challenges in Israel, Lebanon, and the Middle East, Drawing from Our Researchers’ Findings.

The Israeli Christian Aramaic Association is a non-profit organization represented by Aramean Israeli citizens—both young and old. Our members are mainly from the uprooted Aramean Christian Maronite Village of Kfar Birem and from the Aramean Christian village of Gush-Halav in the upper Galilee Mountains.

At the Center, our goal is to revitalize the Aramaic language as a spoken daily language. Aramaic is the language of our forefathers, our Church, and our Lord Jesus. We are located in the heart of the Galilee where Jesus passed on his way to and from Lebanon:

”Jesus Christ visited Tyre and performed a miracle for the Syro-Phoenician woman’s daughter, (as noted in Matthew 15:21-28 and Mark 7:24-30.) He then went by way of Sidon on to the Sea of Galilee (Mark 7:31)”
Along with the revitalization of the Aramaic language, we seek to unite all Christians in the Middle East as one strong nation; to educate our children and the world on the heritage of our ancestors; to fight for their rights in Israel; and to encourage them to raise their families in this country.
